1.     Introduction

The M73100 horizontal spindle rotary table surface grinder is a surface grinder that uses a grinding wheel to grind surfaces. It is used to process surfaces with high parallelism and roughness requirements for two parallel surfaces. Because the worktable can rotate about a horizontal axis (±3°), it can also grind internal and external conical surfaces.

The hydraulic system uses a stroke control operation box, and the reversing accuracy of the worktable movement is high, which can grind disc-shaped parts with a convex platform. The feeding system of this machine tool has automatic mechanisms such as automatic grinding head feeding, zero position stopping, sparkless grinding, automatic return to the left end limit position of the worktable, and automatic demagnetization. Operators can pre-select parameters according to their needs to reduce labor. The electromagnetic worktable magnetic force is adjustable to adapt to different processing requirements. 

This machine tool has a variable speed mechanism, so it can achieve higher production efficiency and consistent surface grinding smoothness. The grinding wheel protective cover is safe and reliable, and the grinding wheel replacement is convenient and quick. The MG73100 high precision horizontal spindle rotary table surface grinder is a flat grinder that uses the grinding wheel peripheral to grind surfaces of two planes that require high parallelism and surface roughness. The flatness of the workpiece can reach 0.005mm and the surface roughness Ra value is no more than 0.08um. The worktable can also rotate around the horizontal axis (±3°), allowing for the grinding of internal and external tapered surfaces. The hydraulic system uses a travel control operation box, and the reversing accuracy of the worktable movement is high, making it suitable for grinding parts with convex features.

  MGK73100   High-precision CNC horizontal spindle surface grinder with rotary table 

I. Introduction

The MGK73100 high-precision CNC horizontal spindle rotary table surface grinder is a precision machining equipment that uses the periphery of a grinding wheel to grind metal materials. It can process workpiece planes with a diameter less than or equal to φ1000mm, with high flatness and surface roughness requirements. With the use of CNC axis linkage, it can grind inner and outer conical surfaces.

The overall design of the machine tool adopts a drag plate moving layout, with the worktable rotating and the drag plate moving longitudinally with the worktable. The grinding head moves up and down vertically on the column. 

(1) The cross-sectional shape of the machine tool bed is a closed hollow rectangular section with a reasonable arrangement of rib plates. The direction of the main bending deformation of the column is designed as a double-walled frame structure, ensuring good anti-deformation ability of the machine tool. The main castings of the machine tool are subjected to two artificial aging treatments to eliminate internal stress and make the machine tool more stable in accuracy.

(2) The X-axis guide rail of the machine tool adopts a linear guide rail, which has good rigidity, accuracy, and anti-vibration performance. The Y-axis guide rail adopts a steel-embedded rolling guide rail, which has a large cross-sectional area and stronger rigidity. The combination of these two guide rails ensures the speed of the drag plate movement and the accuracy of the X and Y-axis feeds.

(3) The circular worktable adopts the 9 series high-precision bearing to avoid the influence of hydraulic floating on the vertical feed zero position. This bearing is a special product jointly developed by our company and bearing manufacturers. The worktable rotation is stepless variable frequency speed regulation, to meet the requirements of various grinding speeds.

(4) The grinding wheel spindle adopts a dynamic and static pressure spindle, with axial movement and radial runout both less than 0.003mm. It has high precision and strong rigidity, and can maintain long-term service life. The oil tank is equipped with a refrigeration device to control the working temperature rise of the grinding head.

(5) The two coordinate axes of the worktable longitudinal movement (X-axis) and the vertical movement of the grinding head (Y-axis) are both driven by AC servo motors and ball screw drives, and equipped with linear grating rulers to form a closed-loop system, with sensitive feed and reliable positioning.

(6) The machine tool adopts Siemens 828D CNC system, with automatic fault diagnosis and display function, including monitoring, detection, alarm, fault content of the electrical system, etc. It is equipped with a color display (≥10.4" color graphic display) and an electronic handheld unit (including a handwheel).

(7) The machine tool electrical cabinet is equipped with an air conditioning refrigeration system.

(8) The cooling water tank is equipped with a magnetic separator and paper tape filtration.

(9) Electromagnetic suction cups are used, and the magnetic force is adjustable with demagnetization protection function.

(10) The lubrication of the guide rail and screw adopts a centralized automatic lubrication system, ensuring smooth operation of the guide rail and screw.
